Things to say to a Girl to Make Her Happy
I am writing this because I often find myself not knowing what to do to make my girlfriend happy when it counts. Usually something happens, she gets upset, and I am at a loss of what to do. Then, the next day I have all these ideas of what I could have done to make her feel better.
Complimenting her
Normally when you are upset as well you don't think about giving the other person a compliment but girls love compliments. Compliments tell her that you really care and you should not only compliment her looks but also her personality. DO NOT tell her that she is "hot" or "sexy" because every guy says that. At the same time though, do not over compliment her(Yes I know what your thinking). I am sure by now your thinking:
- Why are women so complicated? -or-
- So what do I tell her?
Well I don't know why women are so complicated but I have some ideas of what to tell her lol.
- Tell her that she's "beautiful," "pretty," or "gorgeous." These words are a lot more heartfelt.
- Compliment her personality. This will make her feel pretty on the inside as well as on the outside. Complimenting her personality will make her feel like your not just with her for the looks and that you like/love her for who she is.
Give her good, honest, unique compliments
It is always a good idea to keep track of things that she does that you like. By keep track I mean to write it down somewhere. If you have a smart phone download a free note taking app like
Evernote. The reason I say to write it down is because, at least for me, when I am upset or frustrated I usually can't think of the positive things that she has done. It is also a good idea to take something that is totally unique about her and let her know that you love it. Maybe you are in love with her eyes, maybe you love her long hair or the way she laughs. Whatever it is make sure that she knows.
Show her unexpected affection
This is the hard part lol. Showing her affection when she is looking for it is easy(most of the time) but giving her the right compliment when it's unexpected is something that we normally forget. Pick a time when you two are together to think about what you love/respect/admire about her and let her know out of the blue. Send her a text message saying "I was just thinking about you and I miss you" or go by her work unexpected and drop her off a flower or a
gift.
